Innovation is a key factor for any organization to survive and grow on the long run. Unless an organization is prepared to work continuously at renewing what it offers and how it creates and delivers that offering, there is a good chance that it won’t survive today’s turbulent environment. With markets and technology fast changing and good ideas quickly copied, innovation is an essential but risky business, especially for smaller companies and organizations with limited financial resources, and no "deep pockets" to finance losses on projects of long duration. This course aims to provide a general understanding of incremental, radical and disruptive innovation theories, concepts and frameworks and how it can be best applied in organizations. This course will address principles of innovation development processes and interventions, innovation competency building, innovation performance boosting and innovation team leadership.
