Sound Design is the art and technique of creating sound for multimedia creations. This semester course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of sound design, including both theoretical and hands-on components. Students will learn about sound recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. Students will work with industry-standard software and equipment to create sound designs for a variety of artistic projects. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the sound design process and the skills to create their own sound designs for various media.
