Consortium for Continuing Education of Catalonia
The Consortium was established in 2004 within the framework of the Public Employment Service of Catalonia and is composed of the Government of Catalonia, through the Department of Business and Employment, and the trade union and business organizations considered most representative in Catalonia.
The main objective of the Consortium is the development of continuous vocational training as an essential tool to ensure lifelong learning, the adaptation of active workers and companies to the new knowledge-based society, and the maintenance of the professional skills of workers in cases of changes and mutations in production processes, within the framework of the European employment strategy.
